Why does body skin
become less firm?
As with the face, aging causes a change in the skin and subcutaneous structures of the body. Skin laxity can also occur as a result of pregnancy or significant weight change. It can result in a flabby and wrinkled skin appearance.
The area’s most often affected by this lack of firmness are: the abdomen, thighs and arms. Although in some cases, cosmetic surgery is necessary, other non-invasive alternatives can help firm up the skin of the body.

How to firm the stomach, thighs and arms?
Physical training is often the essential first step to improving the body’s appearance. Lack of muscle tone may be the reason for sagging skin, and since muscle tone contributes to good subcutaneous support, its contribution should not be overlooked for a better result.
A good diet and drinking a lot of water contributes to a good regeneration of the skin cells and thus to obtain a better-quality skin. As for the face, smoking and excessive exposure to the sun or without adequate protection are strongly discouraged.
Medical-aesthetic care to firm the skin
In aesthetic medicine, the multipolar radiofrequency treatment is a gentle alternative with no recovery time. Radiofrequency heats the skin and subcutaneous tissues to allow the formation of new collagen and elastin fibers, resulting in firmer-looking skin. The satisfaction rate is very high in our patients (≥ 90%) but, the results can vary from one person to another (0% to 80%). This technology is most effective in younger patients (under 60 years old).
Combined with good lifestyle habits, this course of 10 treatments at a rate of one treatment per week, can help improve the firmness of the body’s skin.
The treatments can also be used as a preventive measure.
